Lydia Forson: ‘Picture Perfect’ girls have put their differences behind

Sparrow Pictures (Sparrow Productions) has recently revealed exciting news for all the film lovers that it is all set to bring the sequel of the award winning movie titled ‘The Perfect Picture’ earlier next year. ‘The Picture Perfect’ was released almost ten years back which gives the sequel a title of ‘The Picture Perfect – Ten Years Later’. 

The director of ‘The Perfect Picture’ and its sequel, Shirley Frimpong-Manso made an exclusive appearance in a recent press conference in which she revealed that she has called the cast of ‘The Perfect Picture’ back on set after ten years and it’s amazing. However, according to Ghana Television reports, Ghanaians are quite surprised by the news of upcoming sequel as the relationship between the lead actresses, Lydia Forson, Jackie Appiah, and Naa Ashorkor was ruined at the completion of the movie, ten years back. It all happened at the 2010 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AAAs) when three of them were crowned Africa’s Best Actress and the confusion broke out about who should get the AAAs statue. 

The confusion was basically not about the AAAs statue instead it was about the competition that who is the most deserving actress. Most of the people suggested the award should go to Jackie Appiah, so she ended up keeping the AAAs statue. No doubt, Jackie kept the award but lost the friendship between the lead actresses. However for now, according to Lydia Forson, they have put their past differences aside because they are mature now. While talking exclusively at the press conference, she said, they are very happy to be on the set after ten years as it’s like a happy reunion. 

About the difference between now and then, Lydia said, “The difference between now and then is that we are all older and matured. We understand ourselves a little bit more. We understand the industry; we understand what it means to be an actor. So, we are all coming at this with a lot of maturities, a lot of understanding and love. It is like a school reunion. We are laughing on set every day remembering things we did 10 years ago.” 

When one of the journalists asked the actress about how the lead actresses are coping up now as their friendship wasn’t ended up well because of the AAAs 2010, to which Lydia replied, “As I said, we are coming at this with a lot of maturity. There is a lot more mature now. We were young then and there was a lot we didn’t know. We didn’t know how media worked. There was a lot of confusion at some point and that’s why I said this is the best time for us to do this because we are genuinely friends now.”

NDC Finally Exposes Faceless Journalist who Defamed Party’s Name

The opposition National Democratic Democracy (NDC) has finally got a hold on the faceless journalist who was defaming major NDC participants for the last few months. The Constituency Executives of the NDC in Evalue-Ajomoro Gwira Constituency of the Western Region are the real heroes who have exposed the culprit called Ato Kuntu Blankson. 

No doubt, Ato Kuntu has been slandering the party’s name for the last many months but he crossed all the limits when he turned his attention towards slandering the name of the expected parliamentary candidate of the NDC, Mr. Kofi Arko Nokoe. The culprit Ato Kuntu Blakson clearly mentioned Mr. Kofi Arko’s name in his letter which was published a couple of days back by Ghanaweb latest news today section. In the letter the culprit declared Mr. Kofi Arko as a major mole in the National Democratic Congress. 

The story highlighted the following point that “He is known to have partnered some key members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) with key among them as the current Member of Parliament for the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira and former Tourism Minister Madam Catherine Afeku and the current Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Frank Okpenye who sponsored and partly participated in the demonstration against the NDC then in government, making it unpopular”. Not only this, but the faceless culprit also published that “Evalue Ajomoro Gwira NDC reject NPP mole aspirant as the party endorses his disqualification”.These above-mentioned statements caused major hype in the Ghana Politics scene for the fact that the parliamentary primaries are scheduled for September 21st, 2019. It was quite hard to find the faceless culprit but after careful consideration, the Constituency Secretary of the party, Mr. John T. K. Abugri had to come forward and clear the whole situation by releasing an official press release. 

The press release said, “We as the leaders of the party do not oppose or align ourselves to any of the two candidates as been published by an online news publication on the 17th of August 2019 as well as that of the Ghanaweb which appeared on Wednesday 14th August, 2019 by this faceless and mould begotten bull of this era (Ato Kuntu Blankson). We believe the two candidates are committed members of our party NDC and we shall rally strongly with any of the two who emerges as the Victor after the parliamentary primaries which are scheduled on the 21st September 2019”.

The main purpose behind the official press release was to call upon all Ghanaians not to take the claims by the faceless culprit Ato Kuntu Blankson seriously as they are completely wrong and pointless. On the front of principal teacher denied the incident of rape but he accepted that somehow he abused the girl by touching her breast. Moreover, criminal teacher said that he was in the principal’s office then she came and said to check her notebook he replied that he is busy but she was waiting for him then I called her to the lab and asked about the daniel. She did not reply about that when I said that I will tell to your parents. She did not reply so that I realized there is some bad thing. On the next day I tried to have sex with her by penetration but I was not able to do that. I asked that she is a virgin or not, she replied yes so I thought to keep her virgin.
