Lydia Forson: ‘Picture Perfect’ girls have put their differences behind

Sparrow Pictures (Sparrow Productions) has recently revealed exciting news for all the film lovers that it is all set to bring the sequel of the award winning movie titled ‘The Perfect Picture’ earlier next year. ‘The Picture Perfect’ was released almost ten years back which gives the sequel a title of ‘The Picture Perfect – Ten Years Later’.

The director of ‘The Perfect Picture’ and its sequel, Shirley Frimpong-Manso made an exclusive appearance in a recent press conference in which she revealed that she has called the cast of ‘The Perfect Picture’ back on set after ten years and it’s amazing. However, according to Ghana Television reports, Ghanaians are quite surprised by the news of upcoming sequel as the relationship between the lead actresses, Lydia Forson, Jackie Appiah, and Naa Ashorkor was ruined at the completion of the movie, ten years back. It all happened at the 2010 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AAAs) when three of them were crowned Africa’s Best Actress and the confusion broke out about who should get the AAAs statue.

The confusion was basically not about the AAAs statue instead it was about the competition that who is the most deserving actress. Most of the people suggested the award should go to Jackie Appiah, so she ended up keeping the AAAs statue. No doubt, Jackie kept the award but lost the friendship between the lead actresses. However for now, according to Lydia Forson, they have put their past differences aside because they are mature now. While talking exclusively at the press conference, she said, they are very happy to be on the set after ten years as it’s like a happy reunion.

About the difference between now and then, Lydia said, “The difference between now and then is that we are all older and matured. We understand ourselves a little bit more. We understand the industry; we understand what it means to be an actor. So, we are all coming at this with a lot of maturities, a lot of understanding and love. It is like a school reunion. We are laughing on set every day remembering things we did 10 years ago.”

When one of the journalists asked the actress about how the lead actresses are coping up now as their friendship wasn’t ended up well because of the AAAs 2010, to which Lydia replied, “As I said, we are coming at this with a lot of maturity. There is a lot more mature now. We were young then and there was a lot we didn’t know. We didn’t know how media worked. There was a lot of confusion at some point and that’s why I said this is the best time for us to do this because we are genuinely friends now.”

Juliet Ibrahim plays another nasty card by commenting about men

A few days ago, I wrote a blog regarding how Ghanaian/Nollywood actress, Juliet Ibrahim has been playing with her fans for so long. However, it’s time that Ghanaians realize how they are being played by their very own Juliet Ibrahim.

First, she left Ghana, went to Nigeria and started behaving like a diva who doesn’t care about anything when it comes to her career. It was back when Ghanaians almost forgot that Juliet Ibrahim is a Ghanaian celebrity as her social media posts were also used to be a reminder that she is flourishing in Nigeria. She used to post stunning pictures on Instagram with highlighted location as Lagos, Nigeria. Then she met Iceberg Slim and started flying in the air as she had become a real Nigerian because of her Nigerian boo. She didn’t even reveal about her relationship until she found a very mysterious yet proud way to reveal about her achievement.

However, let’s not forget that Ghanaians started this campaign about how this time being the power couple of Juliet and Iceberg is not going to last long. To everyone’s expectations the same thing happened and thus Ghanaians got their Juliet back with a book ‘A Toast to Life’ and a lot of personal yet motivational incidents. They totally forgot about the past and accepted Juliet as she is the most influential person in Ghana. She was exclusively interviewed on numerous TV/radio channels where she talked about her life incidents (also mentioned in her book) with such grace that she started making to the major highlights every day. I also wrote various blogs on how amazing Juliet is and boom Juliet has started showing her real face again.

Yes! You heard it right, according to GBC Ghana; she has started playing nasty cards by commenting on different things. First, she talked about her ex-boyfriend Iceberg’s small manhood and now she has said that she can’t stay with one man. Let’s not forget to highlight the fact that she had recently made it to the highlights by talking about how her father broke her heart by leaving when she was only 18 and now this? She can’t stay with one man?

She was exclusively interviewed by the well-known host, Delay on ‘The Delay Show’ in which when she was being asked about her constant change of men. Juliet said it’s very hard to stay with one man as she likes to be with different men. However, for now, she is in the search of her type who can handle ‘a complete package’ like her. She is indeed amazing. Isn’t she?”

Everything you need to know about Shatta Wale’s ‘Loud in Bukom’ concert

Let’s talk about the much-hyped ‘Loud in Bukom’ concert what has literally taken the Ghanaian music scene to the whole next level by breaking major records. The concert has already made to the international headlines within a few hours.

However, we are not surprised as it was held in the name of Ghanaian self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale. The point is quite simple that it’s not the first time when the one and only Shatta Wale has performed at the concert and it’s gone wild. However, it was different this time as according to the Ghana News Live, the concert was basically organized by the Ghanaian legendary artist, Ga-rapper Aletse Tinny. However, the word got leaked that the dancehall king, Shatta Wale will also make a special appearance at the concert. From that time forward it was no longer a Tinny concert but Shatta Wale’s concert.

Moreover, later on, there were rumors that Shatta is not going to perform at the concert because of unknown reasons. These rumors literally made the Shatta fan go crazy (especially those who had already bought the tickets). The whole escalated situations convinced the ‘Me Need No Awards’ hitmaker to come forward and publicly post about the fact that he will perform at the ‘Loud in Bukom’ concert as per the previous schedule. Shatta took to his official social media handle and posted about the above-mentioned fact, the night before the event. His post literally made it to the highlights on Ghana Television because Shatta fans were very disappointed.

However, when the music lovers attended the much-awaited ‘Loud in Bukom’ concert at Bukom Square, they forgot about all the drama and rumors as the concert was absolutely mesmerizing. Firstly Tinny took the stage by storm with his mouth-watering performances. He performed on various singles and entertained the audience to its fullest. Then came Shatta Wale who literally performed on more than a hundred songs and broke one of the major records. He performed for almost four consecutive hours and his energy was literally boosting as the hours were passing.

The dancehall king performed till 3 in the morning and then he was being stopped so that the music lovers could go home. However, he never stopped till 7 in the morning and people are in awe until now. One of the best moments of the whole concert was when Tinny (Godfather of Shatta Wale) and Shatta Wale (Son) performed on the stage together. The concert was later titled as ‘Father and Son’ because of Shatta and Tinny’s extremely thrilling performance. Shatta couldn’t resist appreciating his Godfather a while performing live.

Shatta Wale has made another record by performing for that long on someone other concert and still getting the hype. However, we are not surprised once again because it’s common for Shatta Wale to break and make records.
